Married to the Army

I have been married to a Army Solider since November 2005 and would not change it for the world. Their are people, even family and friends, you still ask is it worth being married to a solider. My answer is always yes, no matter if he is deployed or state side my answer is always yes. Because, I married my best friend, lover, soul mate, and father of my kids, and I love him more now than when we got married, we will truly never be apart. Do not get me wrong Army life is not easy, you have to be more understanding, forgiving, strong willed, independent, and very unselfish. Soldiers are the most unselfish people in the world, because they have to leave their families and friends for 90days up to a year or more, with out a second thought because its the Army way to have our buddies back no matter what.Cameron (my husband) has been deployed 3 or 4 times, after awhile you just not counting, his first long deployment he left when our oldest was 9months old, so he missed all the major first, like crawling, walking, and talking, but mainly her first birthday. But, if we where not in the Army we would have seen or been place we have if he did not enlist. We have been station in Ft. Campbell, Ky an hour with Nashville, Tn, them went to Ft. Stewart, Ga an hour from Savannah, Ga and hour and half from the coast. Now were are in Va, 3 hours from DC, we are loving the people and  landscape here, when people are not driving they are very nice and helpful too. Where and when we move again only time and the Army will tell, but that is the Army Life. We miss our family and friends back home, but were in the Army and the Army is are family too. When we leave for a new station like always, we will leave family and friends we made here when we going to a new place, and truly leaving that is the hard part, but you will always have a chance of seeing them again.

About our two little cowgirls

This two little girls keep me on the go 24/7. Lilli An Raenell, is the oldest one, she is 3yrs old. Lilli is named after my Great Grandmother Lillian and my Grandmother Raenell on my dad's side, but we call her Lilli bug. She was born at Fort Campbell, Ky at BACH the military hospital on post there, around 1155pm February 2009. She started part-time Pre-K this year at Apple Tree Academies and loves learning.

The youngest is Jacki Lynn May, she will be 9months tomorrow. Jacki is named after my mother-in law Jerri Jacqueline, who goes by Jac and my Aunt Ilena on my dad's side, we call her Sissy. She was born around 830am in December 2011 at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, Va where we are station at now. We may live in Va, but in are hearts were Texans proud and true.
